Trainspotters
Collectible characters that appear near the player's tracks every 60 minutes, up to 20; each pays money, all 25 unique ones a special reward.
Trainspotters are collectible characters that appear on the map near the tracks you have built.
How they work
- A new trainspotter appears every 60 minutes near your tracks; click it to collect it.
- Uncollected trainspotters pile up to 20; beyond that, no new one appears until you collect some.
Rewards
- Each trainspotter pays money at once.
- The second tab of the Medals screen shows which ones you have collected, and how many.
- Collecting all 25 unique trainspotters gives a special reward.
- Your progress counts towards your career achievements.
Faster
- Collect every trainspotter on the map at once for 10 gold.
- A trainspotter voucher, won at the lottery, does the same.
Some scenarios have their own trainspotters, such as the animal ones of Destination Africa.
