Shares
On some worlds, an association funds a share of one industry level; every member then gets a waiting time bonus there.
Industry shares are not a standard feature: they only exist on some special worlds. They replace the majority system for industries, warehouses and harbours.
How they work
- A share covers one level of an industry, warehouse or harbour, not the whole site: each level is unlocked separately.
- The association's members fund the level's target together, in fixed steps (+ / –) or by typing an amount; a contribution cannot exceed what is still missing.
- Once the target is reached, the share is unlocked: every member of the association gets a waiting time bonus there (30% according to the association article of the official help).
- Ownership is not exclusive: several associations can hold a share of the same level.
- Money beyond the current level's needs counts towards the next level's share.
- Personal investments still work as before: a personal waiting time bonus, and prestige for the largest investors.
