Region

In Steam over Europe, the map is split into 10 regions that compete with one another.

• Each region is led by a president, who appoints a cabinet of up to 10 members.
• Regions can be linked by special tracks, and goods can travel from one region to another.
• At the endgame, the 10 best cities become megacities; a region can have several.
• A region becomes overcrowded when it has at least 10 more players than the average and 5% more; its cities can no longer be chosen.

Perfect Paradise uses islands instead: four isolated islands, each one a region with its own president.
