Museum
Stores engines not in use; there they can be serviced, sold, upgraded, or reactivated in a city, which takes about 10 minutes.
The museum stores the engines you are not using, for example to switch between freight and passenger engines. It is the third tab of the menu opened by the train icon at the bottom of the screen.
Moving engines to the museum
Select the engine in your list, choose Move to museum, tick one or more engines, then confirm at the bottom of the panel.
Reactivating
- In the museum tab, use the arrows next to an engine or the reactivate button at the top, tick the engines and choose the city where they should go.
- Reactivation only works if there is room left under your Engine house limit.
- An engine takes about 10 minutes to be fully reactivated, then gets a new schedule.
- Instant reactivation: the purple button, with instant dispatch vouchers or, failing that, 3 gold per train.
At the museum, an engine can also be serviced, sold or upgraded. The Engine house sets how many trains you can own in total, active trains plus the museum.
