A city that qualifies for the endgame: in Classic, the ten best cities become megacities and compete for the required goods.
A megacity is a city that takes part in the endgame.
- Classic: the 10 best cities become megacities and compete for the delivery of the required goods.
- Steam over Europe: also the 10 best cities, and a region can have several.
- Perfect Paradise: only the best city of each island qualifies, so four megacities.
During the endgame, delivering each goods type a megacity requires earns prestige, and city consumption follows its own rules (base rate 15%, cap 80%).
