Medals are in-game achievements that reward your progress with prestige points.

Earning medals

They come from tasks and milestones: carrying certain quantities or types of goods, winning competitions, investing in industries, growing cities, or moving through the eras. New medals become available over the six eras; the Monopolist medal, for example, cannot be earned in era 1.

Collecting them

• Open the Medals menu and click a completed medal to collect it.
• Each medal is awarded only once, and its prestige only arrives when you collect it by hand.
• Each medal gives a fixed amount of prestige, depending on how hard and how important the task is.

Tips from the official help

Take part in every side of the game, keep long-term medals in mind, and join an active association: some medals can only be reached as a team. With a starter pack, delay collecting medals to get the most out of it.
