Lottery tickets

The lottery is a building of your train station where you scratch lottery tickets to win prizes that help your empire grow. Tickets come from the daily bonus, from association bonuses, or are bought with gold.

Prizes by level

The building levels up as you collect prestige, and each level adds prizes:

• Level 1 (from the start): gold prizes, 24 hours of Plus Account, research points, money, engine vouchers, engine boost, waggon, instant dispatch.
• Level 2 (1,000 prestige): the Primus bonus engine, freight and passenger bonus engines, engine upgrade, trainspotter voucher, cheaper construction, instant building upgrade.
• Level 3 (6,000 prestige): headquarters voucher, passenger waiting time halved, the three bonus coins.
• Level 4 (20,000 prestige): licence, investment and mechanic vouchers.
• Level 5 (60,000 prestige): free tracks voucher.

The three coins

From level 3, scratching a ticket can also give a coin: bronze, silver or gold, each with a 3% chance.

• Once you hold all three, no more coins drop until you exchange them.
• Your coins are shown at the top left of the prize overview (click the building in your station); the Exchange coins button appears there when the set is complete.
• The exchange always offers three prizes to choose from: money, prestige or research points. The amount depends on the level of the matching building: the Bank for money, the Station concourse for prestige, the Laboratory for research points.

Players often take research points at the start of a new era, to buy the engine they want sooner.
