Industries
Industries produce the goods; processing industries turn incoming goods into new ones and pay out prestige when they level up.
Industries produce the goods carried on the map. Some produce raw materials; others, processing industries, turn incoming goods into new goods: cattle needs grain, meat needs cattle.
Delivering to an industry
- A processing industry pays a premium for the goods it asks for, as cities do.
- When it levels up, prestige goes to the players who delivered the most of the goods it asks for, and to those who have invested the most money in it.
- Each level raises its hourly capacity.
Waiting time
- The occupancy rate (how much of its capacity is collected) matters most, then investments.
- In a processing industry, the stock of incoming goods also counts: with several incoming goods, the one with the lowest stock sets the waiting time.
- The higher the occupancy rate, the faster the industry grows to its next level.
Associations
An association can hold the majority of an industry level or, on some special worlds, a share of it; its members can also benefit from integration there.
