The city a player starts in, connected from the start at no fee; some city project vouchers go only to players whose home city it is.
The home city is the city a player starts in.
- It is connected from the start, with no connection fee; the second city stays affordable early on, then each new city costs much more.
- Some city project rewards are vouchers given only to players whose home city it is.
- With pre-registration, the chair or a deputy chooses a non-overcrowded city that becomes the default starting city of all pre-registered members; each member can still pick another non-overcrowded city.
- The association chair can change the association's home city.
