What it does

Track production sets how many tracks you can lay on the map. Tracks connect the industries that supply goods and the other cities.

Levels

• When a round starts, its level depends on the era: from level 1 in era 1 to level 12 in era 6.
• It has 30 levels, costing from $5,000 (level 2) to $15,000,000 (level 30); upgrades take from 10 seconds up to 6 hours, a duration reached at level 15.
• The track limit goes from 4 to 900.
• Upgrade times are halved on x2 worlds and cut to a quarter on x4 worlds.

Building faster

Upgrading Track production also cuts the building time of each new track. When you race a rival to open a new route, its level can make the difference.
