Acceleration

An engine statistic rated out of 20; on short routes a train has less time to accelerate and may not reach its top speed.

Acceleration is an engine statistic, rated out of 20.

  • On a short route, a train has less time to accelerate and may not reach its top speed: prefer longer routes, or engines with high acceleration.
  • Research upgrades raise it.
  • Some engines reach 20/20, such as Prométhée, Hydre and Centaure, and the bonus engines Electra, Icare and Vénus.
