Acceleration is an engine statistic, rated out of 20.
- On a short route, a train has less time to accelerate and may not reach its top speed: prefer longer routes, or engines with high acceleration.
- Research upgrades raise it.
- Some engines reach 20/20, such as Prométhée, Hydre and Centaure, and the bonus engines Electra, Icare and Vénus.
